WebHunt is one of the closest games to Tarkov and vice versa - but they are still very different imho. Whether they "share the same genre" is a question of how broad you want the scope to be. Eg they are definitely both first person shooters. You could break that further down until they fall into two different buckets. WebYou absolutely should get both games. They have a good amount in common, and a good amount uniqueness. Tarkov can give more adrenaline than any horror game that I played. The tension is sometimes sooo heavy, you can cut the air. Hunt gives the best -teamplay-action-showdonws. both are amazing. both are very addictive.
WebTarkov is a terrible looking, buggy, clunky game held together by its extreme gun fetishism. It needs a a lot of engine and balance work before it's ready for primetime. Also: Hunt isn't "full price," it's like thirty dollars. Tarkov literally sells you power in the form of stash space to the tune of up to 150 dollars.
