In this unit, physics concepts such as mechanics, energy, fluids, waves, sound, electricity, optics, and atoms, will be explored and related to biology and biomedical science. WebbThis course provides an overview of topics in physics that are of particular importance to the life and biological sciences. The specific topics chosen for PHYS*1080 (mechanics with an emphasis on fluid mechanics) make it particularly suited for students in the biological sciences or environmental science. Course Goals
