Web2 days ago · I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall in either Iveagh House (Irish Foreign Ministry) or Fine Gael HQ, when the news broke that their poster boy in the culture wars was wanted to visit Knock Shrine (the national Catholic shrine in the west of Ireland). Mixed messages from Uncle Joe Web2/2 they couldn't take a legal challenge because of their own failures & they left it to the community to fight for our heritage. We've asked them to take the site into State Care but there has been tumbleweed since.
