I'd try to keep the driving around to an absolute minimum, but it should be able to get you to wherever it is you have to go, provided that your destination isn't terribly far away. WebIf it's solid it has cut the cylinder off, and it's not good for your car, but it's manageable for a few days. Here's my suggestion, start it in the morning. The check engine light will flash for a second or two then go solid. Let it warm up and turn it off. Wait a minute and start it back up. Very often coils will only misfire when cold.
