WebAug 23, 2024 · The Grand Mesa Units are, in my experience, hard to find the elk. Its big country, heavily hunted and recreated, and overall not in my top 20 units to spend my elk season. There are elk, and I have had luck cow hunting here and 421......but not what your probably hoping for in an elk experience.
