Issues with one-to-many cardinality and Calculation of a Ratio.
WebI'm dealing with a pretty large dataset (~3.2 million rows), so I'd like to do some calculations in Tableau. I've read some pages about level of details (like this), but these seem to deal with aggregation of data rather than referencing values for specific dimensions.I'll lay out the problem, and hopefully a guru can point me in the right direction. WebDec 6, 2024 · In our first example, we had a cardinality of 2, while in the second case, cardinality equals 10. And cardinality is the top factor that affects the size of the column. Don’t forget, column size is not affected only by the size of the data in it. You should always take into account dictionary size, same as hierarchy size. reichmann photography
Relationships: Asking questions across multiple related tables
WebIn this work, we show how cardinality-related information for the set partitioning problem is represented within the simplex tableau and how a fractional solution can be interpreted in terms of unresolved solution cardinality. We include a cardinality row within the linear programming relaxation of the set partitioning problem to demonstrate ... WebMay 27, 2024 · The relationships feature in Tableau 2024.2 introduced new data modeling capabilities, making it easier to combine multiple tables for analysis. If you haven’t already, read our previous post to get an introduction to relationships.
